Halloween has come and gone, many candies have been munched. Things are slowing down a bit, record-wise, since the convention has passed. Its about time to hit the road again and dig up some goodies. Well...until then, here you go.
Young Boy Blues...a great song and a personal favorite of mine...have you ever heard Snooks Eaglin's version? ...Eddie "Buster" Forehand lived in the same town that I grew up in on Long Island, NY...Little Buster (as he was known) often performed with a soul/blues band in New York City...sadly, he passed away about two years ago...Steve
hey benjamin, the flip of the falcons is "let's kiss and make up". steven - never heard the snooks version, but i'll look for it. the buster version has been a fave of mine for a long time now.
Techniques IV! I recall staring at this record a few times in your shop but couldn't cough up the change, such a jam though. I couldn't pull up the MP3 links, are they down or is that on my end?
Word, thanks. Yeah Twink is James Polk's label, right? I saw the dude perform with Pamela Hart earlier this year, he can still get down on the keys like no other!
Click on the song titles to hear MP3s of the records. If you'd like to download the MP3 to your computer, just right-click on the song title, then choose the "save link as..." option.

Whoa! 'Take This Love I Got' by the Falcons is one of my favorites. What is the B-side of that one?
